He is running in the December 8, 2026, special election to represent District 5 on the Tuscaloosa City Council.
Bo is the owner of Druid City Brewing Company and Ell’s Kitchen.
Three jobs for the open seat
Streets and sidewalks
University Boulevard East is under construction. Stay with that project until the sidewalks and the shared-use path are finished. When the work blocks a driveway or a shop, the district’s council member should be the one who picks up the phone.
Small businesses
Rent is up and storefronts sit empty. Help people who want to open find space that is already vacant, and look at what the city can do for a smaller business, not only a large one.
A district people use
The tennis complex already gives people a reason to show up. Push for sidewalks that connect, and for ordinary events that give the rest of District 5 a reason too.
Election day
Tuesday, December 8, 2026: Alberta Baptist Church, 2210 University Boulevard East. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A runoff, if needed, is on January 5, 2027.
The race is local. So is the help.
